Along the east side of Chang'an Avenue, on the north side of Gaobeidian exit of Beijing Express expressway, there is a beautiful and elegant Ming and Qing architectural complex. This is the Chinese red sandalwood Museum.

It was built by the CPPCC National Committee member and Chen Lihua, chairman of Hongkong Fuhua International Group, and invested more than two hundred million yuan RMB. It was officially opened in September 19, 1999. It is a key project of Beijing's 50th anniversary tribute to the founding of the people's Republic of China. It is also the largest private museum in China, which collects and studies, displays and displays red sandalwood art, and appreciates traditional Chinese classical furniture. Its birth has filled a gap in the Chinese Museum circles.

陈列展厅根据其展陈内容又细分为正厅陈列、书房陈列、卧室陈列、婚房陈列、佛堂陈列等不同的厅堂格局;根据藏品材质的不同专设了紫檀家具展厅、黄花梨家具展厅、乌木家具展厅、金丝楠家具展厅;馆内展出的藏品总计近千件，其中包括十几件明清时代的家具珍品;另外在这里还陈列了一系列可作为古代建筑摹本的微缩古建模型：故宫的角楼，紫禁城御花园中的千秋亭与万春亭，山西五台山龙泉寺牌坊，山西万荣县的飞云楼，古色古香的北京四合院，这些都是用紫檀按照原结构手工制作而成的;为了让游人更好地了解中国传统家具的制作精髓，还特别陈设了传统家具原木、造型、结构展示以及雕刻工艺的展示。

In 2005, with the China Council for the promotion of international trade, World Expo participated in the exhibition of "red sandalwood" in the VIP Hall of World Expo, and won the "best show Award". In the same year, the traditional Chinese furniture exhibition of "red sandalwood" was held in Washington and Atlanta respectively in the same year.

The Chinese red sandalwood Museum has introduced the world's tour, and introduced China to the world in another form to introduce the art of Chinese sandalwood carving.

During the two years from 2005 to 2007, the Chinese red sandalwood Museum donated a large red sandalwood ancient building model to the the Imperial Palace Museum, the Kyushu National Museum of Japan, the national collection of art in Germany, the National Museum of art in Dresden, the Smithson Museum and the world's five museums in France.
