India athletes are deeply disturbed by their "inferior" equipment and uniform.

Bbu Haag Vann, who is going to compete in the Olympic boxing 60 kilogram class, complains, "to tell the truth, this is the worst uniform I have ever seen."

"These jerseys are of poor quality and durability, and some of them are not even fit at all, which is much worse than the quality of our uniforms worn in China."

Singer, the star guard of India men's hockey team, wears shorts and even bursts his crotch because he is too tight.

India media reported that Singer wore an old pair of shorts in protest after training.

According to reports, the India Olympic delegation wore

clothing

It is provided by a local company.

The company denied that athletes were dissatisfied with the quality of clothing.

"The quality of these garments is very good because they have been recognized by the India Olympic Association."

India's achievements in previous Olympic Games are not commensurate with its status as a large population.

In the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, the India delegation won only 1 gold medals and 2 bronze medals.

Danish player Nicholas Bendtner used to advert the sale of underwear in the European Cup. An Olympic Organizing Committee member said they would not check the underwear of athletes during the Olympic Games.

In June this year, Bendtner was fined 80 thousand pounds for UEFA fines on the European Cup, revealing underwear with no designated advertising sponsor's name.

Covert marketing is often achieved by means of special means so as to achieve free publicity in important events. Senior Olympic official Denis Oswald said Olympic officials are determined to fight against it.

"We will not really check their underwear after playing," Oswald said. "However, there are fines for players' underwear in the European Cup, and the Olympic Games will be fined as well."

The Egyptian delegation finally had genuine equipment Nike: free sponsorship.

Two days ago, Ahmed Ali, chairman of the Egyptian Olympic Committee, told reporters in an interview that the "Nike" for the Egyptian delegation was a Chinese distributor.

Ali said that the provision of a full set of genuine sports equipment for an athlete needs $300-500. Because of the poor economic situation in Egypt, it is difficult for the Egyptian Olympic Committee to raise huge sums of money for the 112 athletes and some auxiliary staff to purchase genuine clothing.

Nike issued a statement today: "we are very pleased that the Egyptian delegation can wear genuine Nike equipment to participate in the Olympic Games."

And announced that these genuine equipment will be provided free to the Egyptian delegation.
