Benchmarking accelerates the promotion of new industrialization and the construction of a strong province integrating data and reality. There are still problems and deficiencies in the work of digital transformation of intelligent transformation in Jiangsu Province, and the digital transformation of manufacturing industry is still in the exploration and promotion stage.

In Jiangsu Province, the intelligent transformation of manufacturing industry has entered a new stage. According to the 2023 Data Map of Jiangsu Province's Integrated Development of Industrialization and Industrialization jointly prepared by the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology and the National Research Center for Industrial Information Security Development, in terms of "intelligent reform", the readiness rate of intelligent manufacturing in Jiangsu Province is 20.3%, ranking third in China after Shandong and Zhejiang.

"The 'readiness rate' is also called 'completion rate', that is, the proportion of enterprises that have initially met the basic conditions of intelligent manufacturing. The data of Jiangsu Province is nearly 4 percentage points lower than that of Shandong Province, reflecting that the supply capacity of intelligent manufacturing still needs to be improved." At present, Jiangsu Province is still not strong enough in autonomous and controllable ability in key areas such as high-performance sensors, industrial software, basic components, etc. The self-sufficiency rate of embedded operating systems is less than 3%. Another outlet for deepening "intelligent reform" is to promote "artificial intelligence+" by taking scene application as the traction.

"At present, 'smart reform' calls for new services matching 'smart manufacturing'." As leading enterprises such as Dasheng set a benchmark, there are more and more intelligent manufacturing demonstration workshops and demonstration factories, and intelligent transformation has entered the stage of "sequential fast forward".

Over the years, the "prescription" given by Jiangsu Province is "systematic diagnosis, classified transformation".
