The Seminar On Quality Improvement And Monitoring Of School Uniforms In 2023 Was Held In Nanjing

On August 3, the "2023 Seminar on Improving and Monitoring the Quality of School Uniform for Primary and Secondary Schools" sponsored by China Fiber Inspection Magazine and co organized by China School Uniform Industry Research Center was held in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province. Qi Tongxing, Director of Policy Research Division of China Fiber Quality Monitoring Center, Yang Jinchun, Executive Vice President of China Garment Association and Director of School Uniform Industry Research Center, Xiong Zongwei, President of China Fiber Inspection Magazine, and more than 60 industry experts, scholars and enterprise representatives from various school uniform product monitoring units attended the conference. The conference focused on the quality monitoring of school uniforms and the high-quality supply of the industry to carry out discussions and field research, aiming to jointly promote the quality improvement of school uniforms and effectively ensure the safety of school uniforms for primary and secondary students.

Xiong Zongwei said that school uniforms for primary and secondary schools have always been the focus of social attention, and also the focus of the work of the market supervision department. As a professional journal of fiber inspection sponsored by China Fiber Quality Monitoring Center, China Fiber Inspection Magazine has the obligation and responsibility to build a good platform for communication between school uniforms and various industries; Yang Jinchun hopes that the administrative supervision departments, school uniform enterprises, quality inspection systems, industry associations and other parties related to school uniforms will actively participate in the development and revision of school uniform quality standards, make contributions and suggestions, promote the supply side reform of school uniform industry, and jointly build an industrial ecological community of destiny.

The school uniform seems to be a simple garment, but it is actually related to the health, safety, beauty and self-confidence of students. At this year's NPC and CPPCC sessions, the "small topic" of school uniforms again attracted the attention of the NPC and CPPCC representatives. The delegates suggested that school uniforms should play an educational role in primary and secondary education. While strengthening the quality supervision of school uniforms, they should further ensure the openness and fairness of the school uniforms market, gather all forces to jointly promote the school uniforms to become beautiful and better, and let high-quality school uniforms play a more important role in aesthetic education in the growth of students. In recent years, the reform of school uniforms in China has achieved remarkable results. The quality of school uniforms in primary and secondary schools around the country has been continuously improved, and the styles have become more and more beautiful. It has become the consensus of the whole society to let students dress healthily, happily, and positively. Local education authorities and quality supervision departments have also made beneficial explorations.

The conference released the 2022-2023 Student Service Product Quality Monitoring and Analysis Report. The report analyzes the development of the school uniform industry from the aspects of internal quality and safety requirements, quality implementation standards, and regional quality differences, and puts forward suggestions such as "continue to strengthen the quality monitoring of student uniforms, go deep into enterprises to carry out assistance, and encourage school uniform manufacturers to increase brand building".

Subsequently, a number of experts from the quality monitoring industry and education experts jointly shared and discussed topics on how to do a good job in the quality monitoring of school uniforms and improve the educational function of school uniforms. Zhu Dan, vice president of Henan Institute of Quality Inspection and Testing of Fiber Textile Products, emphasized the importance of strict quality and safety of school uniforms from strengthening technical assistance, improving the quality management system, carrying out field research and exchanges, so as to truly care for the "second skin" of students; Zhang Liangliang, director of the third customer service department of Guangzhou Textile Institute of Guangzhou Inspection, Testing and Certification Group, pointed out that functional textiles have been favored by the market in recent years. At present, the global market of functional textiles has an annual sales volume of 50 billion dollars, and the sales volume of functional textiles in China has an annual growth rate of about 4%. In the future, safe, beautiful, comfortable and healthy high-quality school uniforms are the development direction of the industry. Functional fabrics with moisture absorption, quick drying, three prevention functions, UV protection and antibacterial properties will have greater market demand in school uniforms; Chen Jialiang, the quality director (and director of the office) of Fujian Fiber Testing Center, said that for the promotion of the quality of school uniforms, we should provide precise assistance, stick to the "safety line" of market supervision, act as a "good steward" to help solve problems, sink into the front line of enterprises, and give full play to functional advantages; Shen Yehua, the director of the school office of the Nanyou Branch of Xianlin Primary School, the Affiliated High School of South Normal University, shared from an aesthetic perspective the construction of the aesthetic education curriculum base of the Affiliated High School of South Normal University starting from the "little blue and white", and combined with the campus clothing, with the beauty of traditional blue and white, moisten the campus and educate students.
