The continuous drying and multi-stage filtration technology of physical method, liquid phase viscosity increasing technology, online full chromatography color supplement and color matching technology and high-efficiency differentiation technology of physical and chemical method, depolymerization, filtration separation, decolorization, refining, polycondensation and functional modification of chemical method have made significant progress.

The number of mandatory textile standards was reduced from 46 to 2, and 800 recommended national and industrial standards were formulated and revised. To solve these problems, it is necessary to further optimize the textile science and technology innovation ecology, tackle key core technologies in basic and strategic fields, cultivate and bring up a large number of scientific and technological personnel with advanced level, smooth the transformation chain of scientific and technological achievements, and make use of international innovation resources, so as to realize the systematic improvement of scientific and technological innovation ability of textile industry.

Establishing and improving the industrial system of green low-carbon cycle is an important symbol and basic bottom line to realize the high-quality development of the whole industry“ Since the 13th five year plan, the whole industry has made remarkable achievements in energy conservation and emission reduction, pollution prevention and control, comprehensive utilization of resources, green manufacturing system, etc., and has made positive contributions to basically building a textile power“ During the 14th Five Year Plan period, under the background of the world's unprecedented great changes and China's construction of a "double cycle" new development pattern, under the guidance of national carbon peak and carbon neutralization goals, it will be the general trend and important policy for the textile industry to promote the green and low-carbon circular development and promote the comprehensive green transformation of the industry. In accordance with the relevant work deployment of the state and the industry in the development of the "14th five year plan", and on the basis of summarizing the green development situation of the textile industry during the 13th Five Year Plan period, the guiding opinions are hereby formulated.

The industrialization of recycled polyester fiber by chemical method has broken through the technical bottleneck. The industrialization technology of recycling fiber by physical method and physicochemical method has won the national science and technology progress award. The zero abandonment activity of old clothes has been further promoted, and the efficiency and level of classification and recovery, scientific sorting and efficient utilization of waste textiles have been steadily improved.
Since the 13th five year plan, the green development of textile industry has made some achievements, but there are still many problems that hinder the development and need continuous attention. It mainly includes: low investment in green environmental protection innovation, lack of innovative talents; The green collaborative development of industrial chain is relatively weak, and the green management ability of product life cycle needs to be improved; The construction of green manufacturing system is slow, the supporting role of public service platform for green development is not strong, the effective supply capacity of green products is insufficient, and the guidance of green sustainable consumption is not enough; The industrial chain system construction of waste textile recycling is slow.
