Mexico Made A Preliminary Anti-Dumping Ruling On China And India Polyester Filament; Mexico; India; Polyester Filament; Anti-Dumping

On May 14, 2021, the Ministry of economic affairs of Mexico announced that the preliminary anti-dumping determination was made on polyester textured yarn (Pty) originating in China and India, and the preliminary ruling was that no temporary anti-dumping duty should be imposed on the products involved. The Mexican tigie tax number of the product involved was 5402.33.01. The announcement shall take effect from the next day of promulgation.

Interested parties shall submit case comments and evidence materials within 20 working days from the date of the announcement, and the deadline is 6:00 p.m. on the due date.

On March 31, 2020, Mexico launched an anti-dumping investigation on polyester filament from China and India. The dumping investigation period is from July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019, and the injury investigation period is from July 1, 2016 to June 30, 2019.
