The Sixth Council Leading Group Of China Cotton Association Was Established, And Dong Kuiyong Was Elected President

On May 24, the sixth member congress of China Cotton Textile Industry Association, the first Council of the sixth session and the first standing council of the sixth session were held in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province. Gao Yong, party secretary and Secretary General of China Textile Industry Federation; Duan Xiaoping, vice president of China Textile Industry Federation; sun Xiaoyin, deputy secretary of Discipline Inspection Commission and director of Human Resources Department of China Textile Industry Association; Han Ping, President of Jiangsu Textile Industry Association; Zhu Beina, President, Dong Kuiyong, vice president, ye Jianchun, and Zheng Jiewen, vice presidents of China Cotton Textile Industry Association Li Jie, secretary general, as well as heads of relevant departments of China Textile Federation, nearly 300 representatives from member enterprises of China Cotton Textile Industry Association and enterprises from upstream and downstream related industries attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Zheng Jiewen.

The term of office of the Fifth Council of China Cotton Textile Industry Association has expired. The meeting comprehensively sorted out and summarized the industry work during the period, and elected a new Council. Dong Kuiyong was elected as the president of the new China Cotton Textile Industry Association, Zheng Jiewen, Li Jie, Wang Yao, Jing Shenquan and responsible persons of 20 cotton textile enterprises were elected as vice presidents, and Li Jie served as secretary general.

Gao Yong congratulated the opening of the meeting, fully affirmed the high-quality development of the cotton textile industry, and was full of expectations for the new leadership.

The meeting heard, deliberated and adopted Li Jie's work report and financial report of the Fifth Board of directors.

The meeting completed the general election, deliberated and passed the articles of association of China cotton textile industry, the management measures of membership fees and the revised contents of the articles of association of China cotton merchants, and elected a new Council. In addition, the meeting also adopted the appointment decisions of the chief engineer, assistant president and Deputy Secretary General of the Sixth Council of the China Cotton Association, as well as the decisions of the heads of the branches. According to the relevant requirements of the Ministry of Civil Affairs on the work of the uncoupling Industry Association, China Cotton Textile Industry Association set up a board of supervisors. After voting at the meeting, Zhu Beina was elected as the chief supervisor, and Qin Xiaohong and Chen Zongli were elected as supervisors.

Dong Kuiyong, the newly elected president, said that standing at a new starting point, the new Council will further inherit and carry forward the fine tradition of the association, closely rely on the majority of member units, conscientiously perform their duties and forge ahead in unity. In the future, efforts will be made in five aspects: first, adhere to the original intention and bravely shoulder the mission; Second, care about the industry and benefit the industry; Third, make overall plans and take practical actions; Fourth, emancipate the mind and dare to innovate; Fifthly, be cautious at the beginning and the end, and be honest and clean.

Zhu Beina, chairman of the board of supervisors of China Cotton Textile Industry Association, briefly reviewed the historical development and achievements of the cotton textile industry. In the face of new opportunities and challenges, she suggested that in the future, cotton textile enterprises should better integrate scientific and technological innovation with traditional industries, integrate modern technology with intelligent technology, and better integrate textile and Internet; Second, we should enhance the awareness of optimization, adhere to the bottom line thinking, and strive intelligently against complex situations to enhance our own strength; Third, we should seize the opportunity of big cycle and double cycle to enhance the viability, competitiveness and sustainable development ability of cotton textile industry.

At the meeting, ye Jianchun, China Cotton Textile Industry Association, read out the notice on Issuing the list of high quality development leading enterprises and high quality development demonstration enterprises in the 13th Five Year Plan period of China's cotton textile industry, and awarded the license. According to the comprehensive situation of business income and competitiveness ranking of enterprises during the 13th Five Year Plan period, Anhui Huamao Group Co., Ltd. and other 21 enterprises were awarded the honorary title of high-quality development leading enterprise in China's cotton textile industry during the 13th Five Year Plan period; 41 enterprises including Dezhou Huayuan Group Co., Ltd. were awarded the honorary title of "13th five year" high quality development demonstration enterprise in China's cotton textile industry.

Duan Xiaoping hopes that under the leadership of the new leadership, China Cotton Association will improve its organizational construction, enhance its business capability, build an efficient team and enhance its mission and responsibility.
