Shuikou Township, Changxing County: Promoting The Safety Of Textile Industry Gathering Point

Textile industry is a representative industry in Shuikou Township, Changxing County. There are more than 60 textile enterprises in the jurisdiction area, laying a solid foundation for the industrial economy of Shuikou township. Since the beginning of this year, Shuikou township has carried out special safety improvement actions for the gathering points of the textile industry, further consolidating the safety production foundation of the textile industry.

It is reported that the staff of Shuikou Township, through deep exploration, found that there are three textile industry clusters in the region, involving 48 business households and more than 600 water jet looms, which are produced in the form of leasing. The production mode of gathering point leads to some problems, such as unclear responsibility boundary of safety production subject, inadequate implementation of main responsibility, and poor operation of safety management mechanism.

On the basis of exploring and arranging, the staff of Shuikou Township convened a meeting to clarify the safety responsibility boundary and person in charge of safety of the lessor and the tenant, and sorted out 11 safety points of the textile industry, which were posted at the prominent position of the gathering point, further clarified their safety precautions and ensured the safety production system of the gathering point Safety management has been implemented and safety management has standards. Safety supervision staff have also guided the investigation and rectification of hidden dangers one by one, which further improves the safety production conditions of the three gathering points.
