Recently, Shandong Provincial Development and Reform Commission announced the list of Shandong Engineering Laboratories (engineering research centers) recognized in 2020, and the "seaweed fiber yarn product R & D Engineering Laboratory" declared by Xiajin Renhe Textile Technology Co., Ltd. was recognized as "Shandong Engineering Laboratory". This is the first provincial engineering laboratory in Xiajin County.

Shandong seaweed fiber yarn product R & D engineering laboratory was rated as a municipal engineering laboratory on December 27, 2017, with an area of more than 1800 square meters. It has 87 sets of advanced equipment at home and abroad such as Uster Evenness Tester, intelligent autoleveller, etc. By the end of 2019, the original value of instruments and equipment has reached 15.33 million yuan. There are 126 people in the engineering laboratory. In recent two years, the engineering laboratory has carried out 16 research and development projects, including 3 foreign cooperation projects, and formed 10 patents with independent intellectual property rights.
