China Leather Association Annual Verification Of Environmental Protection In Hunan Galaxy Leather Industry

Recently, Chen Zhanguang, Deputy Secretary General of China Leather Association, Professor Wu Haoting, Professor of environmental protection, Professor Cheng Baozhen, Professor Luo Qing and Professor Luo Qing went to Hunan Galaxy Leather Manufacturing Co., Ltd. for environmental protection annual verification.

Wang Jianguo, deputy secretary of the Party Working Committee, deputy director of the Xiangxiang Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau and other relevant departments of the Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau, accompanied by the verification.

The association environmental protection verification group listened to the report on the operation and environmental protection of Hunan Galaxy Leather Manufacturing Co., Ltd., and learned about the thirty million square feet of the middle and high-end ecological environment.

The operation of sewage pretreatment, hazardous waste management and automatic on-line monitoring of sewage discharge was inspected; the environmental approvals, total emission control indexes of major pollutants, cleaner production, environmental management system, environmental risk prevention, and heavy metal chromium pollution prevention and control measures were examined.

Subsequently, Chen Zhanguang and the expert group also conducted on-site inspection of the leather industrial park sewage treatment company.

Through a one day on-site verification,

Unanimously approved the current sewage pretreatment system of Galaxy leather, the tannery effluent discharged by the leather industrial park sewage treatment company can meet the national emission standards.

The expert group has fully affirmed the strong sense of social responsibility and advanced environmental awareness of the company leaders, and put forward some suggestions for improving the collection and management of cleaner production, sewage treatment process and chromium containing waste liquid at present.

The inspection team believes that Hunan Galaxy Leather Co., Ltd. has enjoyed a high reputation in the leather industry of the whole country through the adjustment of structure and the introduction of technology.

It is understood that the tanning industry environmental protection verification is the China Leather Association to carry out self-discipline and promote leather industry.

According to the verification results, a list of tannery enterprises that meet the requirements of environmental protection is issued in batches and announced to the public.

The pformation and expansion project of ecological cowhide that the company is implementing has revitalated the assets of Xiangxiang Leather Industrial Park, and promoted the overall upgrading of the leather industrial park's structural adjustment and environmental protection work.

The expert group and the company leaders discussed various aspects of the pformation and upgrading of the enterprises, promoted the development of green leather industry, and enhanced the ability of pollution control, which provided a series of guiding opinions for the development of enterprises.
