1. color fastness to rubbing

The color fading of dyed fabrics can be divided into dry friction and wet friction.

Wet friction is caused by external friction and water, and its wet rubbing fastness is generally lower than that of dry rubbing fastness.

The color of the rubbing cloth is evaluated by grey card.

The degree of rubbing fastness was evaluated by the degree of staining of white cloth, which was divided into 5 grades (1~5). The greater the value, the better the rubbing fastness.

The service life of fabrics with poor friction fastness is limited.

Factors affecting rubbing fastness

It is closely related to dyeing process: the dye penetrates evenly, and the fiber is well bound, and the color fastness to surface flotation can be improved, otherwise, it will decrease.

Related to dyeing concentration: high concentration, floating color and poor rubbing fastness.

It is related to dye types: large dye particles or large molecular weight and poor rubbing fastness.

2. ironing fastness

The degree of discoloration or discoloration during ironing.

The degree of discoloration and discoloration is assessed by the stain of the iron to other fabrics at the same time.

The ironing fastness is divided into 1~5 grades, the 5 grades are the best, and the 1 grades are the worst.

When testing the ironing fastness of different fabrics, the temperature of the test irons should be selected.

3. sublimation fastness

Refers to the degree of sublimation of dyed fabrics in storage.

The color fastness of sublimation is evaluated by grey grading card. The color change, fading and white cloth staining degree of fabric after hot pressing are divided into 5 grades, the 1 level is the worst and the 5 grade is the best.

The color fastness of normal fabrics is generally required to reach 3~4 levels to meet the wearing requirements.

Factors affecting sublimation fastness

It is related to the dye itself: disperse dyes are the worst type of low temperature dyes, and high temperature type is the best.

It is related to the heat treatment temperature of dyeing: after baking, the temperature must be well controlled and the temperature too high or too low will affect the sublimation fastness.
