Consumer Price Index Of Clothing And Footwear Rises In Hongkong In November
The Hongkong Bureau of statistics and survey released the consumer price index for 2007 November in December 20th.
In November 2007, the total consumer price index increased by 3.4%, which is 3.2% larger than that in October.
According to the analysis of the two level index, the annual growth rate of consumer price index (A), consumer price index (B) and consumer price index (C) reached 3.1%, 3.5% and 3.6% respectively. In October, the annual growth rates of these three indices were 2.9%, 3.2% and 3.5% respectively.
From the latest trend of the consumer price index in October, we can see that the consumer price index is useful for the seasonal change of the consumer price index.
In the three months ending November 2007, the average monthly growth rates of consumer price index (A), consumer price index (B) and consumer price index (C) on seasonal adjustment were 0.7%, 0.8% and 0.6% respectively.
The corresponding growth rate for the three months ended 2007 October was 0.6%.
The annual growth rate of the consumer price index of grocery goods is calculated to be 3.6% based on Composite Consumer Price Index and 4.1% by consumer price index (A).
The composite consumer price index of clothing and footwear grew by 1.4%, and the consumer price index (A) was 2.1%.
The composite consumer price index in the pport sector increased by 1% and 0.5% in the consumer price index (A).
