Italy Will Provide Technical And Professional Support To Small And Medium-Sized Shoemaking Enterprises In India.
Italy will launch a project worth more than 3 million euros to help SMEs in India enhance their international competitiveness and promote their development.
The project, entitled "strengthening India SME development plan" for a period of 3 years, will be undertaken by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization and supervised by the India SME department.
The project involves footwear, leather (including leather making), leather goods, auto parts and so on.
The first phase of the project will start from this year, when the footwear enterprises in Italy and India will sign relevant cooperation agreements. According to the agreement, Italy will provide technical and professional support to India shoemaking enterprises to help India enterprises update their shoemaking process.
