Designer Mary Katrantzou participated in the show for the first time in fashion week and launched the Mary Katrantzo 2009 women's wear series.

Mary Katrantzou is a London Fashion Designer born in Greece. She graduated from Rhodes island design school and worked with Sophia Kokosalaki Sophia and Bill Blas Blass.

Mary Katrantzou takes advantage of a series of stereoscopic and strong wrong look designs and clothes to take the lead in the Graduation Fashion Show at central Saint Martin Central St. Martin's in London.

Mary Katrantzou was deeply influenced by the structural trend in the 70s. It used to match the disproportionate collars that could hardly be worn, or simply printed the jewels on the costumes.
