More Than 100 Leather Representatives Participate In The Sixty-First Annual Meeting Of International Furs.

Su Chaoying, executive director of the China Leather Association, Secretary General of the China Leather Association, Huang Yanjie, director of fur Specialized Committee, and Liang Xiaoning, manager of China National Native Produce and animal products import and Export Corporation, represented China at the meeting.
The meeting will be held for a day. The minutes of the February 5th meeting will be read and passed. The main tasks of the International Fur Association in the past year have been systematically summarized, including financial bulletin, publicity and promotion for fur industry, a series of work to deal with the animal rights organization's destruction of the normal order and sustainable development of fur industry, the promotion of animal welfare and the work of the International Fur Association's Beijing office.
It also announced that the International Fur Association will set up two new offices in Brussels and Moscow, so that by next year, the Fur Association will have four offices including London and Beijing.
China Leather Association
It is the first time to participate in the annual meeting of the International Fur Association. At this meeting, Mr. Su Chaoying made a speech on behalf of the China Leather Association, introducing the relevant situation of China Leather Association in publicizing and promoting fur products, regulating fur breeding, slaughtering, and dealing with activities of disruptive activities of animal protection organizations, and won the praise of the International Fur Association and international counterparts.
At the meeting, Liang Xiaoning, manager of China National Native Produce and Animal By-Products Import and Export Corporation, also introduced the development of China fur industry.
In addition, an important content of this conference is the revision of the International Fur Association and the revision of its articles of association. The members of the Executive Committee have increased to 14, which are represented by the world's major fur animal breeding, fur products trade consumption and the representatives of the four auction houses. In 2011, CEO was appointed to manage the affairs of the International Fur Association.
At the meeting, representatives of various countries voted on the restructuring of the Executive Committee and the amendments to the articles of association, and the proposal was successfully passed.
Subsequently, Mr. Martosko from the United States made a report on revealing the fact that the pet Organization (PETA) slaughtered pets and made money in the name of protecting animals and making money for them.
At the meeting, he advocated that we should correctly guide consumers, actively respond to some animal protection organizations' ulterior motives, disrupt activities, regulate fur industry, and strive to create a luxurious and elegant life for consumers.
Finally, the General Assembly announced that the next annual meeting will be held in Copenhagen in February 10, 2011.
