Brand development The road is endless -- from cost advantage to value promotion: Fashion industry Need to improve added value

With the increase of cotton and linen cost and labor cost, the production mode based on substitute processing has been unable to meet the development needs of many textile enterprises. On the first China Fashion Industry Forum jointly sponsored by China Fashion alliance and Shanghai Changning District people's government yesterday, the chairman of the international fashion color Committee, Ornella Big-nami, vice president Yao Yingjia of Lenovo Group and Xia Lingmin, Deputy Secretary General of China Textile Industry Association, gathered to discuss the future of China's fashion industry.

The extension of fashion industry is gradually expanding.

In China, the term "fashion industry" first appeared in September 17, 2008. The key supporting catalogue of Shanghai's Industrial Development (2008) was formulated by the Economic Development Commission of Shanghai and the municipal development and Reform Commission. Among them, producer services clearly put forward the concept of "fashion industry" and regarded it as a guide for industrial development.

"At present, the definition of the concept of fashion industry is still vague, and there is no need to be very clear." At the tea break stage, Xia Lingmin, Deputy Secretary General of the China Textile Industry Association, told reporters, "decades ago, besides fashion and design, fashion was totally unfamiliar to the public. But now, the introduction of more and more international brands has played a role in cultivating the market and leading the market, and more and more people are concerned about and talking about the fashion industry. Xia Lingmin said that in recent years, the concept of fashion industry has been gradually expanded, "it includes not only traditional clothing and clothing, but also daily chemicals, jewelry, electronic digital and so on."

Industrial agglomeration effect highlights

According to the Shanghai Economic Information Committee, the value added of creative industries in Shanghai in 2009 was 114 billion 800 million yuan, accounting for more than 7.7% of the GDP of the city, and 750 thousand of the employees. Initially formed five major creative industries, including R & D, architectural design, cultural media, consultation and planning, fashion consumption and so on. Among them, R & D, architectural design and other fields showed a rapid development trend. In 2009, the industrial added value increased by 23.6% and 18.9% respectively. At the same time, industrial agglomeration has been further highlighted. At present, the identified creative industry cluster has reached 80, with a total construction area exceeding 2 million 680 thousand square meters and more than 6000 enterprises.

I understand that many creative industrial parks have gradually developed from the early studio to the "industrial chain integration". Take Mingshi street as an example, the park has concentrated on providing LOFT pattern office space, exhibition hall, SOHO designer workspace and activity publishing space for all creative enterprises, providing industrial chain services for enterprises from design, financial support and market promotion. Shao Zhiqing, deputy director of Shanghai Economic Information Committee, said that the next step will be to accelerate the development of cultural and creative industries in Shanghai and make it a new pillar industry in the city.
