cotton

The historical high price, let more and more enterprises begin to "hoarding" this important basic raw material, in order to protect the safety of the industrial chain.

YOUNGOR group recently took the lead in the layout of the raw material supply market for cotton, and its Shengzhou Sheng Tai dyed Weaving Technology Co., Ltd. signed a total price of 1 billion yuan cotton spinning investment project with the Awati township of Xinjiang Akesu District, the hometown of China's long staple cotton.

It has become the largest cotton spinning project signed in Awati county history.

According to the project plan, YOUNGOR will be in

Akesu

The textile industry city has built 300 thousand spindles compact spinning and 150 thousand spindles double twisting project, investing 1 billion yuan, and the construction period is 3-5 years. After the completion of the project, it will provide stable production capacity of 450 thousand spindles per year for YOUNGOR, thus laying a solid foundation for YOUNGOR's raw material supply in the future.

It is understood that

Awati

County is the hometown of China's long staple cotton. It is the famous cotton production base in the country. The annual output of long staple cotton accounts for 1/3 of the total output of the long staple cotton in China. It is an important raw material base for high-grade cotton textiles in China.

Therefore, YOUNGOR's "occupy" the important raw material base is considered to be conducive to obtaining stable high-quality raw material supply, reducing the impact of the huge fluctuation of cotton price, and finally gaining competitive advantage at high cotton prices.

(in March), after taking the final anti-dumping measures on the domestic footwear products in Argentina, China began to investigate the origin of shoes imported from Malaysia because of the doubt that China's footwear products passed through Malaysia's re exports to Argentina.

The Fair Trade Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce announced the latest information in mid August.

According to the Ministry of Commerce, in August 13th, the decree of Argentina began to investigate the origin of footwear imported from Malaysia.

The decree pointed out that since March 2010, when Argentina implemented anti-dumping measures on shoes originating in China, the number of footwear products imported from China has dropped significantly, but the number of imported shoes from Malaysia has increased sharply. In 2007 and 2008, Argentina did not import such products from Malaysia.

Therefore, according to the relevant domestic laws and regulations of Argentina, Argentina began to investigate the origin of shoes imported from Malaysia to verify the authenticity and validity of its certificate of origin.

It is understood that in March this year, Argentina began to take anti-dumping measures on China's footwear products. According to the regulations, Argentina set the lowest reference price for all footwear imported from China except for orthopaedic shoes, skates and skiing shoes. The FOB price of each pair of shoes was the lowest of 13.38 US dollars, and the Chinese imported footwear products below this standard will be subject to anti-dumping duties.

This greatly reduced the possibility of Chinese shoes exported to Argentina market.

At the same time, it also further deepened Argentina's trade protectionist measures toward China.

According to the report issued by the global trade early warning Organization (GTA), China is the most heavily affected country by Argentina's trade protection measures.

According to GTA statistics, since the Pittsburgh summit of the group of twenty in September 2009, Argentina has implemented 75 trade protection measures, of which 33 refer directly to China, and China has thus become an important battleground for Argentina's trade protection.
